Milena Velba And Friends Is Milena Velba Married?

A Tale of Mathematics

During the early years of Stalinism, a Russian mathematician called Razin became very famous for his discoveries in number theory. Both caught the attention of the Politburo, he sent an emissary to propose a member of the party. " The party needs people like you " he argued. The poor Razin convinced him more the fear of displeasing the almighty CPSU his interest in politics, and finally agreed.
However, his interests were focused on the numbers and during boring meetings of the Party he spent playing with his theorems. That attitude did not go unnoticed for long. One evening, after leaving a friend back home gave him 50 rubles and warned him that he should not go home because the political commissars were waiting to arrest him. " Go to the station and take the first train out.
Fiodor Alexeiev se convirtió en a man much loved in her new town. During the day removing snow from the streets at night and plunged into his world of numbers and mathematical structures.
But such popularity was not lost on local members of the Communist Party, which proposed to form part of the game. Fyodor Alexeyev
once again attempt to circumvent the offer, this time arguing that he alone was a poor illiterate workers and such a person could not be at all useful for the party. The party then was forced to attend night school where you teach literacy and the four rules. Fyodor Alexeyev resigned to his fate and went to the first night school sessions, with 24 other illiterate workers, farmers, masons, artisans ...
After a few weeks of school, the teacher wrote on the blackboard: 1 +1 = 2. He said: " This is always, in winter and summer, and always will be. Aprendanselo ." Fyodor Alexeyev
could no longer, stood up and said: You're wrong lady. I can show that under certain conditions and considering some concepts of modern mathematics this statement may not be true.
Aceca to be waxed, grabbed a piece of chalk and began to develop complicated theorems. When he had filled with formulas slate, followed other side. When he took a piece full carbon and continued to write on the walls. An hour later, at the corner of the wall ecribió its conclusion: 1 +1 = 2. Fyodor Alexeyev
the result looked puzzled and said, "Wait, this can not be wrong because I have somewhere. I will review it." At that moment they heard the sound of other classmates whispering: "Planck's constant, Planck's constant ..."

This story is not real, of course. There never was a mathematician named Razin in the USSR. But I find so beautiful that I could not resist bringing it here. Is adapted (the write directly from memory) of a book called Landscape painted with tea of Milorad Pavic .
